ASSOCIATE IN ARTS

The Associate in Arts Program is designed to prepare students for transfer to a four-year college or university for study in the areas of humanities, social and behavioral sciences, or fine arts. The student along with his/her academic advisor will plan a program of study to meet the requirements of the college to which the student expects to transfer. Students who receive the Associate in Arts degree can expect to find employment in the career fields of English, foreign language, geography, history, international studies, journalism, law, political science, psychology, social work, and sociology.
