The Nurse Aide Assistant Certificate program prepares students to assist in patient care in hospitals, nursing homes, and home care agencies under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Students who matriculate into this program must have a clear criminal background check, a clear drug screening, and current immunizations to include Hepatitis B, Tuberculin test, and CPR/First Aid Training. Graduates of the program are eligible to apply and then take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program Examination (NNAAP).
