Credit by Examination

A student may earn up to one-third of the semester hour credits required for an associate degree and enter certain curriculum programs with advanced standing through credit-by-examination options. Total credit awarded may come from standardized tests, such as Advanced Placement (AP) or a combination of AP, College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) and/or the Proficiency Examination Program (PEP).
