Course Restrictions

Students who do not meet the minimum placement test score in writing and English skills must register for developmental English and may not take any English course beyond the developmental level or any other English course where writing is a major requirement. Students who do not meet the minimum placement test score in mathematics must register for developmental mathematics and may not take any course in which mathematics skills are a major requirement. Students who do not meet the minimum placement test score in reading skills must register for developmental reading and may not take any course in which reading skills are a major requirement for passing the course. Students must meet minimum program standards in English, mathematics, or reading in order to enroll in credit courses where these skills are required.
